Take Action: Encourage Your PTA to Join CARE for Youth

The support of parents and teachers is essential in the effort to add health education to the core curriculum in the public schools. As the people who spend the most time with young people, you know how important it is that they receive this life-saving information!

CARE for Youth would like to partner with Parent/Teacher Associations across the state so that we can make health education a reality for all public school students.

There are a variety of ways that your association can get involved in this effort: lend your PTA's name, actively work to get the bill passed by contacting legislators, submitting an article for your PTA's newsletter, or writing a letter to the editor of your local newspaper.
